Gloria Foster is a Registered Nurse with 40 years hospital nursing experience the majority of which was spent in the operating room of Central Washington Hospital. She represented the operating room on the CWH Quality Improvement Team for over 20 years and has a passion for “doing the right things right, the first time, every time, on time.” It is, in part, this passion that is the driving force behind wishing to care for those facing the challenges of aging.
In her personal life Gloria is the proud mother of three wonderful children. Besides participating in their lives, she enjoys time spent with friends, being an active member of Grace Lutheran Church, reading, cooking, travel, and caring for her roses. She looks forward to the opportunity of joining her career with her daily life, in order to practice holistic nursing by living with those for she whom cares.
Mike is the son of Gloria and is in charge of the non-clinical aspects of HHC. Mike is a Distinguished Military Graduate of Tulane University and earned a commission in the US Army as an Infantry Officer. After 4 years of active service, Mike went to Sweden where he earned his MA in Peace and Conflict Studies. Mike coached ski racing and soccer in the Wenatchee Valley and coached Professional Indoor Soccer in Colorado. Besides athletics, Mike enjoys reading or listening to many different authors e.g. Robert Heinlein, Thomas Friedman, Ken Follett and Stephen Ambrose.
